I've dedicated the lion's share of my studio time over the past 2 years to bringing forth the work for this exhibition titled: Grounded in Gold. It opens this Saturday for a 6 month run at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown. I'll be there from 12-3 so drop in if you're nearby.
If you'd like to meet me at the museum during the show, please don't hesitate to get in touch and schedule a gallery visit: 1 person, a few people or a small group.
See the work HERE.
The sculptures pictured in this post are roughly H-37" x W-14" x D-14". Both pieces were slab built + sculpted from a red clay composition I formulated while in graduate school (at the Nova Scotia College of Art + Design) back in the 80's and that I've been using ever since.
