Course Description
Capturing a dynamic movement within a static sculptural object is a challenge. This Fall, we are taking it on! After playing around with some ideas, we will spend time discussing and engineering the mechanical aspects required to make the sculptures work. Tyree will demonstrate sculpting an animal caught in motion from start to finish, from creating a hollow form to adding texture and color. She will demonstrate methods of hanging sculpture on a wall to address various issues of gravity, allowing her to significantly change shapes and capture that movement. Come with ideas, reference photos and a willingness to play. Join us on our journey to capture a moment. Beginner-advanced makers are welcome! Class runs from 10:30am-1:30pm on Wednesdays. Cost of $495 includes everything except clay. Clay is sold by the 12.5 lb block for $14.

Cancellation Policy
**PAYMENTS:** - MANUAL payments: need to be paid within a week of registering. - CHECK payments: Pay to "Lisa Naples" at 5 S Harrison St. Frenchtown NJ 08825. - CASH payments: Pay in-person within a week of registering. IMPORTANT: If payment is not made within 1 week of booking, then your reserved seat will be forfeited. **CLASS CANCELLATION:** - Full refund if > 2 weeks before start date; half refund 7-14 days before; non-refundable < 7 days before start date. - Lisa Naples reserves the right to cancel a class at any point if registration falls below 6 participants. In this case, you will be fully refunded. **MISSED CLASSES:** - No makeup for missed classes, however, 3 hours of open studio access will be allotted to students who miss a class during a 10-week session.
