“Awake and Asleep”

The hare eating popcorn represents the awake consciousness of the primary hare pictured running. It’s watching the movie unfold w/out a future story projecting doom or escape. Just watching, alert and present.

What is so special to me about rabbits/hares is that, though they are prey to so many creatures in my environment, they’ve somehow been able (through the collective, not the individual) to not only survive, but to thrive! To me, they are masters of being in the Void without fear.
