Course Description
In this seven-week course, we’ll bring animal stories to life in wall-hanging sculptures. Beginning with a miniature maquette, we’ll combine hollow slab forms, pinching, and coiling to create lightweight sculptures that hang securely and tell a story. Students can decorate with a variety of underglazes and glazes. So dream up a wild tale and get ready for a creative adventure! Open to beginners through advanced makers. All materials and studio tools are included, except clay, which costs $30 per 12.5 lb block (this price includes a subsidized firing fee).
