Course Description
Slab building and cutting darts to create form is Lisa Naples’ jam! In this Thursday class, we’ll dig deeply into complex darting, exploring the possibilities of this versatile technique. What better way to brighten winter’s darkest days than by making candlesticks to bring warmth and light into our homes? Pictured are flower-headed candlesticks Lisa made several years ago. We're also adding a complex darted bottle as reference for the curious shapes that can be revealed from this process. Open to intermediate-advanced makers, this is our only class not open to beginners. All materials and studio tools are included, except clay ($30 per 12.5 lb block, including subsidized firing fees).

ALL Payments Must Be Received Within ONE WEEK of booking. IMPORTANT: If payment is not made within 1 week of booking, then your reserved seat will be forfeited. CLASS CANCELLATION: • Full refund if > 2 weeks before start date; half refund 7-14 days before; non-refundable < 7 days before start date. • Lisa Naples reserves the right to cancel a class at any point if registration falls below 6 participants. In this case, you will be fully refunded. MISSED CLASSES: • No makeup for missed classes.
