Bev Hogg - Artist Talk
Bev works from her home studio near Mt Majura, drawing on birds and the Australian bush to explore interconnectedness. A graduate of ANU School of Art (1989), she exhibits internationally, has won major awards, completed global residencies, and is widely represented in Australian Public Collections.

About the event
Bev works from her home studio in Hackett, ACT on the slopes of Mt Majura nature
reserve, where the wildlife fly in and out. Drawing on the birds of the back yard and her
concern for the Australian bush, her artworks playfully respond to interconnectedness of
animals, people and their shared environment.
Since graduating from the Australian National University School of Art in 1989, Hogg
has been working as a visual artist exhibiting sculptural ceramics nationally and
