Course Description
This 10-week class will focus on learning sculptural techniques to enable students to create their own animal figure. This session, we will explore animal gesture and positioning as well as the complications that come with some positions. Come with ideas and photos or sketches. Beginner-advanced makers are welcome! To start, we will discuss, sketch and sculpt a maquette (a small rough sculpture of your concept) to help your imagination come alive. Students will learn about hollow forms, solid connections, texture and color. Class runs from 10:30am-1:30pm on Wednesdays. Cost is $495 includes everything except clay. Clay is sold by the 12.5 lb block for $14

Cancellation Policy
**PAYMENTS:** - MANUAL payments: need to be paid within a week of registering. - CHECK payments: Pay to "Lisa Naples" at 5 S Harrison St. Frenchtown NJ 08825. - CASH payments: Pay in-person within a week of registering. IMPORTANT: If payment is not made within 1 week of booking, then your reserved seat will be forfeited. **CLASS CANCELLATION:** - Full refund if > 2 weeks before start date; half refund 7-14 days before; non-refundable < 7 days before start date. - Lisa Naples reserves the right to cancel a class at any point if registration falls below 6 participants. In this case, you will be fully refunded. **MISSED CLASSES:** - No makeup for missed classes, however, 3 hours of open studio access will be allotted to students who miss a class during a 10-week session.
