The funnel (head) is overflowing with all the nouns of my life that informed me before I began working with the figure: kids, a successful, albeit abandoned body of work in functional pottery, the ever present egg of potential, crow, my husband…
All these things enter and then shake and bake with new ideas, risk taking in the studio and voila…new growth coming out my hands.
